Refund policy

We refund credits when something on our end fails to deliver. Specifically:
1. Auto-refunded
- The AI fails to score a submitted attempt due to an outage on our side or a provider's side.
- You're unable to submit an in-progress attempt because of a verified bug on our platform.
- A duplicate charge was processed by the payment gateway.
You don't need to ask — these are credited back automatically within 48 hours.
2. Request-based refunds
Write to refunds@engtest.example within 7 days of purchase if:
- You bought credits in error (e.g., wrong tier).
- You experienced a technical issue that disrupted your attempt but the system still let you submit.
We review case-by-case and respond within 3 business days.
3. Not eligible
- You completed and received scores for an attempt — but disagree with the result. (You can re-take the same mock; we won't refund the original.)
- You changed your mind after 30 days.
- Your institute purchased credits on your behalf — refunds go to the institute, not the candidate.
4. How refunds reach you
Razorpay returns refunds to the original payment method within 5-7 business days for cards, and within 2 business days for UPI / netbanking.
